Parts contacted with the patient (chinrest and forehead rest pad) and housing for NIDEK products can be wiped with a cloth dampened with alcohol.
However, please proceed with caution and note the following actions may cause possible failure to the device.
- Applying a strong force which may distort the housing
- Rubbing the same part repeatedly and frequently
- Oversoaking the cloth with alcohol that the alcohol drips
- Spraying alcohol directly onto the products
When using disinfectant alcohol solution for the purpose of disinfection, it is recommended to use disinfectant alcohol solution with a concentration of at least 70vol%.
