NIDEK CO., LTD., the parent company of NIDEK Inc. and manufacturer of ophthalmic, optometric, and lens edging equipment, will mark its 50th anniversary on August 8, 2021. To commemorate this milestone of 50 years, we have renewed our logo for the first time since our establishment. The new design will be used from April 1, 2021.
New Corporate Logo
While this symbol continues using the image of an eye, the elegant lines shaped like an “N” express the growth of NIDEK. The symbol has a design that gently wraps the earth as well as the eye which expresses our aim to continue to be a global company.

As we are celebrating our 50th anniversary, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our business partners, local residents, and all persons concerned.
Since our foundation in 1971, we have been operating globally in three fields, ophthalmology & optometry, lens edging and coating based on our three pillars: bringing invisible to visible, visible to recognition and our desire to enhance the eye with our products.
We have renewed our corporate logo taking this opportunity of our 50th anniversary. In our logo, we express our determination to further globally contribute to healthcare as well as ophthalmology for the next 50 years. The growth curve in our logo represents the prosperity of both our customers and NIDEK. We will continue to aim at being a leading company in Eye & Health Care, providing solutions to our customers through our products and services and to start afresh to strive for our business goals.
