Description:
Nidek is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to make direct sales of our products In California, Nevada and Hawaii. Sales Managers work closely with marketing for advertising, articles and collateral materials and report directly into the Nidek Sales Management team.
The incumbents must be knowledgeable in all products and will be responsible for:
- Generating leads and direct sales for their region;
- Monthly sales forecasting and field activities;
- Attending trade shows and national meetings;
- Reporting product performance concerns;
- Participating in sales meetings, training and representative certifications;
- Entering new customer data and other sales data into computer database;
- Preparing reports of business transactions and keeping expense accounts updated;
- Developing new prospects;
- Installation, training and support; and
- Initiating sales territory lead generation program and strategy.
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree (or relevant experience)
A minimum of 3 years proven sales experience in ophthalmology and/or capital equipment.
